I started this blog a few years ago because Marty and I could not find a place to play pickleball on the island.
Finally, now, success! There are two pickleball courts with public access at Port de Plaisance.

My purpose for starting this blog is now complete! But, when you are coming to the island, please connect with me. Possibly Marty and I can join us to play while you are visiting the island.
Enjoy!!
That is fantastic see you Ext February

Where are you staying? There is a group of us that will be playing at 5:00 this Tuesday at The Cliff.
You could also check Port de Plaisance Tennis Club to see if they have set pickleball times during the week (we just arrived so I have not checked their status yet).

Yes we can play tomorrow, Thursday. Please leave a message at La Plantation. We will check in the morning.π

Another option you can consider: Port de Plaisance Tennis Club painted two pickleball courts last spring. You can check with them on times you could play on their courts.

If you don’t go to St Barth on Sunday, consider coming to The Cliff at 10:15. The 9:00 crowd would be basically done by then so the four of us could have an enjoyable, high level, round robin.

There is a group of us that play at The Cliff at Cupecoy. We are playing at 5:00 this afternoon and again at 9:00 on Sunday morning. Please join us if you wish.
If you come here, please sign in with security at the front desk. You can say you are a guess of Craig in Unit E4.

Where are you folks from? What is your level of play? Marty and I are both 65+ – I am a 4.0; she is a 3.25.

Hello! We are arriving on thanksgiving, staying for a couple weeks at Cupecoy Beach Club. Wondering if there are any open pickleball games at the Cliff? If so, when and how much? Iβm probably a level 2-3 (intermediate), and would love to play while there.
Also – do you know if I can just go hit with my husband if the court is available?
Really appreciate the help! Thank you.

How cool you are staying next door to The Cliff!! Before we purchased here, I rented at Cupecoy Beach Club for 20 years.
Unfortunately, the court here at The Cliff is not public; it is reserved for owners and renters. But I’m trying to get the Tennis Club at Port de Plaisance to set up a couple of times each week for designated pickleball times. I have not heard back yet. I will let you know if/when I hear from them.

Hi. My wife and I are staying at the oyster bay resort for a week starting December 4. Is it possible to get a game close to there? I am a 4.0 and she is trending toward 3.5.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of any public courts close to Oyster Pond. The only public courts I’m aware of on St Maarten is the Tennis Club at Port de Plaisance, on the Dutch side, just south of Marigot, just south of the Causeway Bridge. There is open pickleball there at 9:00 on both Monday and Friday. Let me know if you plan to join us. Craig
