A slightly better day for pickleball this morning, even after early morning showers.

The ladies team of Terri and Marty whipped up on a combination of male teams this morning, as evidenced by two videos below.

And Lou is now an official pickleballer – he now has his own paddle!

Une journée légèrement meilleure pour le pickleball ce matin, même après les averses matinales.

L’équipe féminine de Terri et Marty a concocté une combinaison d’équipes masculines ce matin, comme en témoignent deux vidéos ci-dessous.

Et Lou est maintenant un pickleballer officiel – il a maintenant sa propre pagaie!

Another interesting day weather wise. There were moments of calm between times of blustery winds. The winds made for an excellent excuse for any missed shots.

Two new people joined us this morning, Lorie and Maria from New York. We have now had 32 different people join us to play pickleball at the Port de Plaisance Tennis Club since we started in December.

Une autre journée intéressante sur le plan météo. Il y avait des moments de calme entre les moments de vents violents. Les vents constituaient une excellente excuse pour tout tir manqué.

Deux nouvelles personnes nous ont rejoint ce matin, Lorie et Maria de New York. Depuis le début du mois de décembre, 32 personnes différentes se sont jointes à nous pour jouer au pickleball au Port de Plaisance Tennis Club.

Another nice morning on St Maarten, albeit with interesting winds. It would be calm one minute, then 15-20 mph winds the next.

Un autre beau matin sur St Maarten, mais avec des vents intéressants. Ce serait calme une minute, puis des vents de 15-20 mph la prochaine.

Our biggest group ever this morning – 11 players! Jim and Cathy from Springfield, IL joined us again this morning – Cathy played with the brace on her broken wrist (now THAT is dedication!!).

Notre plus grand groupe de tous les temps ce matin – 11 joueurs! Jim et Cathy de Springfield, IL nous ont rejoints ce matin – Cathy a joué avec l’orthèse sur son poignet cassé (maintenant c’est du dévouement !!).

Another nice morning in St Maarten, with interesting winds, and our biggest group yet!

Two new players joined us this morning: Jim and Cathy from Springfield, IL. Jim has a nasty net game; Cathy unfortunately is on injured reserve with a broken wrist (a pickleball accident).

The inaugural Sunday morning ladies pickleball at The Cliff. The tennis court is still beat up from Hurricane Irma but playable.

Another very nice day on St Maarten. Three new people joined us today: Sean, Maureen and James. We had nine players, two full courts.
