Another great day of pickleball at the Port de Plaisance Tennis Club. The winds were more calm today so that made the play enjoyable.

The people associated with the Tennis Club, Renate, Stephane and Samuel, have been very supportive of us.
Our current plan is to play every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 9:00. We only needed one court yesterday; it appears that we will need two courts tomorrow. Pickleball growth on St Maarten!
Come join us if you are on the island and interested in playing!

Notre plan actuel est de jouer chaque mardi et jeudi matin à 9h00. Hier, nous n’avions besoin que d’un seul tribunal; il semble que nous aurons besoin de deux tribunaux demain. Croissance du Pickleball à St Maarten!

The first meeting of the St Maarten Pickleball Club will be held at the Port de Plaisance Tennis Club tomorrow morning, Tuesday December 10, at 9:00am on courts #6 and #7!

It appears that it may be awhile until there are dedicated pickleball courts on St Maarten.
Until then, let’s plan to play at the Port de Plaisance Tennis Club. We can quickly convert a tennis court to a pickleball court (see an earlier blog).
I met with their manager this morning, Renata Savitsky. Who knows, they may create permanent courts if we can show enough interest for pickleball.
Please connect when you plan to be on the island and my wife and I can join you.
Il semble qu’il faudra peut-être un certain temps avant qu’il existe des courts de pickleball à St Maarten.
En attendant, prévoyons de jouer au Club de Tennis du Port de Plaisance. Nous pouvons rapidement convertir un court de tennis en un court de pickleball (voir mon blog précédent).
J’ai rencontré leur responsable ce matin, Renata Savitsky. Qui sait, ils peuvent créer des tribunaux permanents si nous pouvons montrer suffisamment d’intérêt pour le pickleball.
